2011 Rules The rules set forth by the Tournament Committee in no way modify or abridge State & Federal Fishing Regulations. It is the responsibility of each Captain to know and adhere to these Regulations. Should catch limits and species regulations change State and Federal Regulations take presidence. 2011 CHANGE IN RULES #4 FISHING TIMES : King Mackerel two day Captains choice begins Saturday at 6:30 AM October 15th,2011 or Sunday at 6:30 AM October 16th, 2011. # 7. There will be no official ending time for King Mackerel Tournament fishing,but fish must be past a tournament official who will be stationed at Swansborocheckpoint (near Marker #49 and #51) by 5 p.m. Saturday or 5 p.m. Sunday. Scales OPEN at Hammocks Beach State Park for King Mackerel at 3 p.m. on Saturday. King Mackerel Tournament Boats may proceed directly to Hammocks Beach State Park (Tournament Headquarters) for Check-in/Weighin until 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. After 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday , King Mackerel Tournament Boats must check in with the Official Tournament Check-In Boat located in the Intracoastal Waterway off Hammocks Beach State Park no later than 5 p.m. Saturday.
